Legal Advice and Guidance

Our Labor Relations Department specializes in labor relations planning, job design and specifications, and support in building payroll reporting systems, formulating contracts, designing compensation packages, and building back office processes from a legal protection perspective. We offer ongoing legal services and support to finance and HR departments, and advise clients on employee recruitment and termination procedures for dispute prevention. We take pride in the number of cases our firm has successfully represented, yet our greatest pride is our proven track record in preventing disputes through result-oriented counsel and consulting.

Over the years, our expertise resulted in the creation of the Ofek Training Department ("Ofakim"), as well as online courses, an employer guidebook and a podcast.

Payroll Audit and Review

To assist our clients drive cost-efficiency and conduct periodic examinations, our firm established a business inspection and payroll audit operation. The aim is to avoid exposure to risks and expenses, ensure compliance with all laws and regulations in Israel and abroad, develop compensation policies and procedures, review all employment contracts and agreements with contractors and service providers, analyze employee management practices to enhance efficiency, and more.

In addition, our office also provides unique services, among them evaluating labor costs and all related expenses for complex project quotes, and performing payroll due diligence for M&As.

Representation in Enforcement Proceedings

Ongoing legal counsel and representation during workplace investigations and on-site surprise inspections by enforcement agencies (Ministry of Labor). Comprehensive representation in inspection proceedings, including legal counsel and representation throughout the investigation; representation and document preparation regarding monetary penalties, filing penalty abatement or mitigation petitions and representation in various administrative appeal boards, including appeals to labor courts; and conducting preventative inspections to improve readiness for future surprise inspections.

Criminal Labor Law

Our firm represents individuals and entities in cases of criminal charges against CEOs and other corporate executives (such as CFOs and HR managers), in addition to corporate criminal liability cases. We are legal experts in criminal law relating to employment relations and labor law violations, which constitute unique criminal proceedings in labor courts.

Employer Representation in Labor Law

Comprehensive litigation representation in labor courts, including civil, administrative and criminal proceedings covering all aspects of labor and employment law:  We defend employers against employee claims for social benefits, pension payments (including counter actuarial valuation), sexual harassment, employer retaliation and hostile work environment, workplace discrimination, issues relating to pregnancy and childbirth, collective rights and the applicability of extension directives and more.

Counseling for C-level Executives and Special Services

We offer executives in your organization legal counsel and representation in sexual harassment complaints, as well as professional complaint investigation services, ongoing legal counsel in M&A contracts, labor relations due-diligence as part of an M&A, business registration or incorporation as needed, and obtaining Ministry of Labor permits (Weekly Rest Day work, exceeding overtime work, severance pay included in income and more).

Employer Organizations

Our firm represents and accompanies employer organizations in every aspect of collective labor law, providing legal counsel and strategic support in employer organization disputes, national (general) collective bargaining agreement negotiations, inter-organizational issues, representation of industry-representative organizations, registration of collective agreements, and requests for extension of collective agreements or opposition to extensions.

Commercial Department

The department provides ongoing business support and legal counsel services for all types of commercial contractual agreements, from business incorporation and founder and investment agreements, through service and procurement, cooperation and merger agreements. We also offer services to meet any other commercial legal needs: development agreements, intellectual property, financing, advertising and marketing agreements, franchising, promotions, distribution and logistics, outsourcing services
and more.

We are experienced in leading complex negotiations and in working with our clients to develop successful negotiation strategies to achieve their goals.
